Crowdsource Nicole’s Friday Outfit

I'm definitely an early bird - but I'm a drowsy one, too. So by the time I've finished yoga and have a couple cups of coffee in me, the last thing I want to do is pick out something to wear. When I first moved into my apartment, I relied heavily on a mood board of looks tacked up inside my closet door, but now I'm much more digitally-savvy. Now I save my favorite looks from around the web on Pinterest, keep an eye on Gilt Group for deals I wish I could afford, and browse refinery29.com for inspiration on how to style whatever I have left that's clean.

Fridays are the absolute worst. Since Thursday nights have become the new Friday, without the gratuitous lazy Saturday morning, yoga is harder than usual. Plus, I do my laundry on the weekends - so pickings are scarce. Also, Fridays are considerably more casual in the office, which leaves even more choices!

So until I have a personal stylist, I’m going to leave it up to my digital social community. I’ve taken my favorite Friday staple - a worn-in chambray shirt - and paired it with other currently clean items in my closet to make three looks. I’m letting all of YOU decide what I wear to work on Friday, on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Polyvore. This social experiment showcases the true influence the digital community has on fashion and style, and gives me some extra snooze minutes, so we all win.

What do you think? Would you leave it up to the community to choose how you define yourself for a day? Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and be sure to check back for the results!
